Adidas Ultraboost DNA Star Wars Release Date & Review

Adidas once again celebrates four decades of one of the films in the Star Wars franchise by producing a sneaker solely dedicated to the iconic female heroine, Princess Leia. There are numerous designs set for release within the week as part of the anniversary special, including those inspired by the Darth Vader and droid C-3PO. The Ultraboost DNA dons a predominantly white ensemble - resembling that of the legendary leader’s white-cladded outfit.

With a knitted lace forefront, the patterns created by the texture of the fabric makes up for the monochrome colorway of the shoe. It gives visual content despite of the lack of color tones. The material also allows for air passage that ensures optimal fit. The shoe appeals to both male and female wearers since it does have a specific distinction that limits it to one gender only. The seemingly random swirling lines on the midsole is an idea derived from Leia’s trademark hairdo. On the tongue, is a white woven image of Princess Leia and her name on black fabric.
